The Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines will host an Industry & Student Mixer on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Marcus Nanotechnology Building, Rooms 1117-1118. (PLEASE NOTE: This location is now confirmed.)
Industry representatives interested in meeting students researching robotics and automation are welcome to attend the event. Please register online.
The event will provide an overview of the broad research areas in IRIM, followed by a speed-networking event: Every 5 minutes our industry guests will have the opportunity to speak to a new student.
Representatives from the robotics and automation industries will meet the talented M.S. and Ph.D. students in the robotics program enrolled in engineering programs in Mechanical, Electrical & Computer, Aerospace, and Biomedical, as well as those enrolled in Computer Science. The group is a mixture of students about to graduate, mid-career students looking for internship opportunities, and new students looking to find promising research directions.
This event will also offer an introduction to IRIM’s Industrial Affiliates program, which includes:
