SGA Open Forum on Concealed Carry

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Student Government Association is hosting an Open Forum concerning concealed carry on campus legislation that may be considered by the Georgia Legislature this spring. The intent of this Open Forum is to gauge the opinions of the student body, to raise awareness about the debate and to spur discussion across campus.

All are invited. We want to hear your thoughts on this possible state legislation.

If you cannot attend, we would love to hear your opinions on concealed carry on campus. Please remember to be respectful of other students' opinions. Thank you!
