There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Prof. L. Andrew Lyon has been awarded the Phi Lambda Upsilon, National Chemistry Honor Society's 2005 National Fresenius Award.
The 2005 National Fresenius Award of the Society is made annually to an outstanding scientists under 35 years of age at the time of nomination. Prof. Lyon's scientific achievements and record have placed him in the company of a group of very distinguished US chemists.
Prof. Lyon was given his award at the Spring National ACS Meeting as a "Jointly Presented Award" of Phi Lambda Upsilon and the American Chemical Society.
