There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Boris Mizaikoff is proud to announce that Christina Young has been selected to receive the Society for Applied Spectroscopy (SAS) Graduate Student Award 2008 for outstanding research in the field of spectroscopy.
This award is an internationally announced award and only a few select students receive this honor. This is now the second time the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry can claim this award, and the second year in a row for the Mizaikoff research team (Gary Dobbs received this honor in 2007).
Our School is very proud of Christina! Congratulations!
