There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Kathy Woody, graduate student in Chemistry and Biochemistry, is the recipient of the ACS graduate fellowship in organic chemistry.
This 2009-2010 fellowship is funded by the American Chemical Society, Division of Organic Chemistry Graduate Fellowship by Organic Syntheses (the Nelson Leonard Fellowship).
This fellowship provides a stipend of $26,000 for the 2009-2010 academic year and $750 travel award. As part of this award, Kathy has been invited to present her research at the 2011 National Organic Symposium in June of 2011. Congratulations Kathy on this well deserved award!
