There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. April 15th was a wonderful day for the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, with recognition of a number of individuals at the Faculty/Staff Honors Luncheon.

Class of 1934 Distinguished Professor Award
Charles Liotta
Charlie is the latest member of the School's faculty to receive this award, the most prestigious award made by the Institute to a member of the faculty. Previous recipients include Mostafa El Sayed, Jim Powers and Chuck Eckert (ChBE, adjunct in CHEM). It is a tradition that the recipient of this award make the address to graduates at the summer commencement - so get your tickets to that event soon!
