NSF CAREER Awards Given to Two Chemistry Faculty

Professors Raquel Lieberman and Jake Soper both received CAREER awards in 2009 from the National Science Foundation. The CAREER program focuses on early career development, and these grants are NSF’s most prestigious award in support of junior faculty who “exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research”.
