There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Council of the American Physical Society, upon recommendation by the Division of Chemical Physics, has honored Dr. Charles David Sherrill with a Fellowship in the American Physical Society.
Election to Fellowship in the American Physical Society is limited to no more than one-half of one percent of the membership.
David's citation reads:
"For the development and application of high-accuracy electronic structure methods in chemical physics, including investigations of higher-order electron correlation effects and seminal studies of noncovalent interactions in prototype systems."
