The School of Chemistry and Biochemistry is pleased to welcome two new faculty members. Professors John Reynolds and Younan Xia will both be joining us in January of 2012.
Professor Reynolds joins us from the University of Florida, where he has built an internationally recognized program in the synthesis of materials for organic electronics. He will be affiliated both with our School and Materials Science and Engineering.
Professor Xia is arriving from the Washington University in St. Louis and will hold a joint appointment between our School and the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Prof. Xia leads and internationally renowned program in the synthesis of nanomaterials for biomedical applications.
With these additions, Georgia Tech and the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry have continued to grow rapidly in the areas of materials synthesis and applications.
Welcome!
