SirenThe Georgia Tech Siren Warning System (SWS) is tested at 11:00 AM on the first Thursday of every month, unless inclement weather in the area would cause undue alarm and confusion. At the beginning of each semester, GTENS is tested live in addition to the standard SWS test.
January: Thursday, January 5th
February: Thursday, February 2nd Spring Semester Full Notification Test
March: Thursday, March 1st
April: Thursday, April 5th
May: Thursday, May 10th *
June: Thursday, June 7th Summer Semester Full Notification Test
July: Thursday, July 5th

September: Thursday, September 6th Fall Semester Full Notification Test
