There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech Lorraine recently hosted the Metal Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy Conference in Metz, France.
The international conference, which focused on recent advancements in material processing by epitaxy, attracted 350 researchers from 29 countries participating in 226 presentations.
Among notables addressing the conference was Albert Fert, 2007 Nobel Prize laureate in physics whose research led to a quantum leap in computer hard drive storage capacity
