The India Club at Georgia Tech will host a candlelight vigil on December 2, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kessler Campanile. The purpose of the vigil is to remember the victims of the recent attacks in Mumbai, India.
The vigil will include remarks from Georgia Tech's Interim President Gary B. Schuster as well as a performance by Taal Tadka, Georgia Tech's India Club a capella group.
All members of the campus community are invited to attend the memorial vigil and wear white. India Club member Anu Parvatiyar indicated, "white is the color of mourning in India and we want to show Georgia Tech's unity with victims of the attacks in Mumbai."
