There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Christa Essig, National Center for Environmental Health, CDC, and Brad Davis, MACTEC, will speak about the environmental approaches to a healthy diet and the production and consumption of local food. They will also speak about the effects of such health choices on eating habits, building local economies, strengthening the social fabric, preserving greenspace, and creating healthier communities.
In addition, a local CSA has donated a basket of fresh, local produce to raffle off to attendees. Come and win fresh, local food!!!
