There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The mayors of Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, and others continued talks about cooperating on major planning issues such as water supply, transportation and energy. While the Piedmont Atlantic Megaregion is composed of 6 states, the participants of the meeting were focused around the I-85 corridor. Participants included 5 mayors, 3 universities, and numerous corporations involved in infrastructure and environment issues. Water and high-speed rail serve as 2 of the issues in which the group wishes to focus collaboration efforts.
