There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Catherine Ross was featured in a roundtable discussion regarding the city, issues the city faces, and the future of the city in an article by Atlanta Magazine. Some of the issues she sees the city facing are regarding education, air quality, water, transportation, and crime. Ross identifies North Carolina as a state that is leading the effort on addressing these issues effectively. However, in order for these types of creative solutions to work, we are going to have to rethink the way we address issues and solutions for the problems.
