There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Catherine Ross speaks about streetscaping for Stone Mountain redevelopment in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution article "Face-lift for Stone Mountain." Stone Mountain aims at redevelopment similar to that of Norcross and Decatur, two successful Atlanta areas which have focused on redevelopment in the recent past. According to Ross, "It's about increasing the value of your place, a way to make better a place where you live. It's about generating new but also making sure to keep what you have."
