There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Catherine Ross speaks about the valuable experiences that Kent State allowed her. Coming from a family where neither parent had a college education, Ross was able to attend Kent State due to a partial scholarship from the school and the school's commitment to an affordable education. From there, she went on to do her doctoral studies at Cornell and post-doc studies at University of California-Berkeley. Ross continues to give back to her alma matter through the Centennial Campaign gift of scholarship funding for minority students.
