There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. From August 3rd - 6th, 2010, planning visionaries met in Guangzhou, China to tackle the challenge of sustainability in urban planning. The conference theme was Sustainable Planning Challenges: Rapid Urbanization, Global Recession and Climate Change.
Dr. Catherine L. Ross, director of the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development (CQGRD) was present to lend her expertise in this area. The College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology was one of the hosting organizations.
