No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Susan Mendheim has been president and chief executive officer of the Midtown Alliance since 1982. In 2011, she will step down from the position to enjoy retirement. Dr. Catherine Ross, director of the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development at Georgia Tech and a member of the Midtown Alliance board, commented "We are all fortunate that Susan came along to provide critical leadership at a critical time. Her legacy is one from which Midtown and our region benefits, and this will continue into the future."
