There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. One Night Stand (ONS) is a free all-night party for all students, hosted by freShGA, a branch of the Student Government Association. Don’t be “that guy” and miss out on free prizes, awesome sports competitions, free prizes, food, raffles, and, oh, FREE PRIZES. More than 2,000 students attend ONS each year and win $20,000 in prizes.
There will be sport competitions, including ping pong, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, indoor soccer, badminton, basketball, Call of Duty, poker, racquetball and dodgeball. Sign up as a team, or fly solo: you’re sure to have a few new friends by the end of the night (even if they just want to take advantage of the new flat screen TV you just won). The pool and rock wall will also be open.
ONS will have free giveaways and raffles throughout the night. Prizes include, but are not limited to, flat screen TVs, iPods, Yogli Mogli and Starbucks gift cards, Nike products or cash.
