No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This end-of-semester gallery for LCC 3410, Rhetoric of Non-Linear Documents, will showcase a variety of student projects, all incorporating multiple dimensions of photography that encourage people to view the world in different ways.
LCC 3410 Course Description:
Images are powerful, enabling you to translate experience, capture an instant, change perspectives, clarify (or create) ambiguity, and shape representations. A series of readings will encourage you to explore views about images, including aesthetic, philosophical, and technical. Throughout the course, you will write and speak about images, but you will also spend considerable time presenting creative and technical images—with and without digital manipulation—in a variety of genre, including photo narratives, representations of science, portraits, reflections, and translations.
