Richard Margiotta will present a lecture on "Travel Time Reliability: What It Is and Why It Matters" on Dec.1 as part of the University Transportation Center, Georgia Transportation Institute Luncheon Seminar Series. A box lunch will be provided.

Bio
Richard Margiotta, is a principal with Cambridge Systematics. He has 29 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering, and has held positions at the Transportation Research Board, University of Tennessee, SAIC and the Knoxville Metropolitan Planning Organization. He received PhD and master's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor's degree in biology from the State University of New York at Albany. His recent work has focused on congestion monitoring, performance management and travel time reliability.
