There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Tower undergraduate research journal hosts its semesterly Undergraduate Research Kaleidoscope (URK), a casual environment to discuss student research going on around campus. All presentations will be given in pecha kucha format: six minutes, divided into 20 slides for 20 seconds each.
Presentations do not need to be about a completed project, but do need to emphasize why the research is important in easy-to-understand terms.
Dr. Pete Ludovice will serve as emcee for the event, and Dr. Doug Flamming will present as a representative of the School of History, Technology and Society and the Student Activities Board for Undergraduate Research (SABUR).
Food will be provided and prizes will be given to the best presentation as decided by the audience.
Approximately 10 presentations will be chosen for this event; apply to present at gttower.org/urk.
