There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Students and alumni who are interested in becoming Chemistry, Physics, or Biology teachers are encouraged to come to the Kennesaw State University/Georgia Tech Science Night.
Attendees will meet with faculty and Master of Arts in Teaching students in the Kennesaw science programs. This program will also highlight the Noyce Scholars Programs, a partnership between Tech and Kennesaw that provides scholarships worth from $10,000 to $20,000, as well as professional development opportunities. There is also a new scholarship program for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) career changers (perfect for alumni and/or some graduate students) that is worth a total of $50,000 and includes intensive mentoring.
