Summary Sentence: Barracuda Networks Presents 24-Hour Programming Competition

Full Summary: Barracuda Networks presents its inaugural programming compeition, open to all Georgia Tech students. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Barracuda Networks will host its inaugural programming compeition for Georgia Tech students Nov. 11 and 12, at the GTRI Conference Center, 250 14th Street.

Teams will participate in a 24-hour, game-playing programming contest. Each team will write an intelligent bot that competes in a game against all other teams. After 20 hours of competition, all teams will compete in a three-hour final tournament to determine the winners. Cash prizes will be rewarded following the compeition.

  • Grand Prize: $3,141.59
  • Second Prize: $1,414.21
  • Third Prize: $602.21

Participants can compete solo or with up to three other students.
