Full Summary: The Budapest Summer Program: Leading Social Innovation is for students who would like to explore a less traditional study abroad destination and do extraordinary things to serve society while developing their leadership skills and understanding of the world around them.The info session will cover all aspects of the program including: courses, the practicum component, housing, fees, site visits, weekend trips, etc. You will hear from previous participants and have your questions answered by the program directors. 

The Budapest Summer Program is for students who would like to explore a less traditional study abroad destination and do extraordinary things to serve society while developing their leadership skills and understanding of the world around them.

The info session will cover all aspects of the program including: courses, the practicum component, housing, fees, site visits, weekend trips, etc. You will hear from previous participants and have your questions answered by the program directors.

More about the Budapest Program:

During the program, students will meet with movers and shakers of the civil sector, work on a live project with a local social enterprise, and immerse themselves in the local culture by travelling through Hungary and participating in exciting events and activities. 

In addition, 3-day weekends allow participants to explore other countries in the unique region of Central Europe and beyond. 

Students earn 9 MGT credits for successful completion of the 6-week program. 

This year’s program runs from May 14 to June 28, 2012.

There are no pre-requisites and the program is open to all majors and non-GT students as well.
