There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Center for Geographic Information Systems holds a weekly research seminar for current graduate and doctoral students working at the Center. Seminars are designed to help students improve their research and presentation skills. In addition to student presentations, industry, research and acadamic professionals are periodically invited to present their work.
This week's seminar will be presented by Harini Kumar, Graduate Student in Computer Science. The presentation will be followed by discussion regarding her work "Using GPS and GIS enabled devices to improve pavement evaluation, management and data collection".
