There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

CETL (Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning) and C21U (Center for the 21st century universities at Georgia Tech) is holding a series of catalyst "unconferences" to define issues on the future of higher education and act as a catalyst on actions we all can agree upon.
The first discussion will be on Open CourseWare.
In this discussion, we will be exploring questions such as:
What form should our Open CourseWare involvement take?
What legal issues do we have to consider and resolve?
What distribution channels should we use?
How will we assess the qualities of open learning resources and guide students to use them wisely?
Bring your top ideas/hot buttons/beliefs and join us.
We will have a mixed group of traditional and nontraditional stakeholders there to discuss the more interesting and innovative ideas around Open Courseware at Georgia Tech.
