Georgia Tech Homecoming 2011The Freshman Cake Race is a Georgia Tech tradition now in its hundredth year. Sponsored by the Ramblin' Reck Club, the race is approximately a half mile long and concludes near Bobby Dodd Stadium. The race was once mandatory, but it is now only highly encouraged that all freshmen participate.
The race is free of charge and cakes will be awarded to the winners for the male and female races. All participants receive cupcakes. Check-in will be in front of Brittain Dining Hall from 6 to 6:20 a.m.
