The H.O.T. Days @ Georgia Tech camp is a one-week-long summer program designed to introduce students to electrical and computer engineering (ECE) concepts. The goal of the program is to instill an interest in ECE and increase the number of high school graduates majoring in this field.
During the summer 2011, two sessions of the program will be offered: June 13-17, 2011 and June 20-24, 2011. The daily schedule will run from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm each day. Twenty participants, rising sophomores and juniors, per session will be selected from a statewide applicant pool. Students who like and excel in math and science courses and who want to explore electrical or computer engineering to determine whether these fields might be their choice of major in college are encouraged to apply.
To apply, visit the H.O.T. Days web site (link provided below).
