There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech-COPE will be hosting the FlexTech Alliance Quarterly Workshop on Hybrid Nanocomposites and Interfaces for Printed Electronics on September 13 -14, 2011. This workshop will discuss topics such as energy storage, tuning electrical properties of transparent conductors, and hybrid materials for encapsulation and packaging.
Speaker presentations will be a comprehensive cross-section of functional layers, structures, and barriers from industry and academia. The panel discussion following the featured speakers will focus on the challenges of organic / inorganic interfaces.
The workshop includes a tour of the Georgia Tech Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics (COPE). Immediately preceding the facility tour, researchers will speak about ongoing projects, joint project/development opportunities and different capabilities of the facility.
