Summaries

Summary Sentence: Learn how to use the skills you gained studying abroad to benefit your career search.

Full Summary: Learn to identify the skills and knowledge you gained while studying abroad and how to incorporate them into a resume, personal statement, or interview.

This workshop, presented by Dr. Linda Gross, Associate Director of the Career Services Network at Michigan State University, and Dr. Philip Gardner, Director of the Collegiate Employment Research Center at Michigan State University, is designed to help students "unpack" their study abroad experiences and determine what competencies they developed on their programs.  They will also learn how these skills are transferrable to other aspects of their lives and see how to maximize the utility of their study abroad experience as they apply for jobs or to graduate/professional school.

Refreshments will be served.  You are still welcome even if you must leave early or come late.
