Pulitzer Prize winning photographer José Galvez will give a lecture titled "Americanos: Latinos in the American South" at 5 p.m. Tues., Sept. 13 in the G. Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons. Immediately following the lecture, Galvez will present 12 photos and three collage panels from his exhibit "Al Norte Al Sure: the Life of a Latino Immigrant in the South" in the Library Neely Room on the first floor. According to his Web site, Galvez was a part of a team of photographers and reporters who were the first Mexican-American journalists to receive the Pulitzer Prize in 1984.
