There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Come out to Park(ing) Day, an international event where metered parking spaces transform into miniature parks for the public! The students of the College of Architecture invite you to come by our miniature parks to hang out and visualize how urban space can be used for public spaces, green spaces, and other uses. There will be a yoga session at 9:30am, Contra Music and Dance at 1:30pm, and other activities for the public to follow. Park(ing) Day will take place along Fifth Street in Tech Square from 9am until 3pm. Food trucks may be present.
Check out the article in the Gray Matters publication to find out more about Park(ing) Day.
Park(ing) Day was originally invented in 2005 by Rebar, a San Francisco-based art and design studio. www.rebargroup.org.
