There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Beginning September 7th, the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) will host a brown-bag-luncheon series on the first Wednesday of each month from noon to 1:00. Each session will feature two faculty who will highlight what they do to engage students in learning.
Our goal with this new offering is to create a venue for faculty to discuss what gets their students involved in their courses. So, in addition to registering for the September 7th session described below, please watch for a survey that invites you to share a specific strategy that you use to engage students and/or indicate a type of student engagement that you would like to learn more about. We look forward to seeing you September 7th!
