Six Flags Over Georgia is open just for Tech again, so get ready to put those first few stressful weeks behind you by enjoying a night away from campus...and the ground! No lines or waiting, special performances and discounted tickets. 

An all-you-can-eat buffet will be available for $12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The menu will include fried chicken filet sandwiches, hot dogs, potato chips, baked beans, ice cream barsand Coca-Cola drinks. WREK 91.1FM will DJ the event.

Tickets
Ticket sales are located at scpc.gatech.edu. The ticket will be stored on your Buzzcard, which you must bring with you to the park. No further proof of purchase is necessary.

Ticket costs are as follows:

  • $15 for first 2000 students
  • $18 for students (limited number available)
  • $22 for staff, faculty, alumni and guests (Alumni tickets may be purchased online at the Six Flags website. Contact Tasha Myers or Sarang Damle for discount code.)
  • $25 at park gate for all attendees (cash or credit only — not Buzzcard)
  • $12 for all-you-can-eat buffet
  • Free admission for children ages 2 and under.

Season passes may not be used at this event. Online ticket sales will end on Thursday, Sept. 15.

Transportation
Transportation will be provided from the Student Center Stinger stop provided by Auxiliary Services. When you purchase your ticket through TechStuff, you will be able to reserve a spot on a Stinger beginning at 4:15 pm. You may also reserve a spot for each guest ticket purchased. Once those time tickets are sold out, we may not be able to provide any additional transportation, so reserve your spot soon! The first bus returning to campus will leave at 9 p.m. Driving there yourself? Parking is free! Follow signs at the ticket booths for Ticket Pick-Up.
