The Georgia Tech Percussion Ensembles, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band will present their first concert of the Spring 2012 semester on Thursday, February 23 at 7:30pm at the Ferst Center for the Arts on the Georgia Tech campus. The concert will include a variety of music from contemporary composers John Mackey, Eric Whitacre, and Frank Ticheli. It will also feature two compositions by the revolutionary American composer, Charles Ives, including Variations on “America” and A Son of a Gambolier, which is the musical basis for our world renowned fight song, “I’m a Ramblin’ Wreck from Georgia Tech.” 
Admission is $10 for the general public or free with a student ID. Please join us for this exciting evening of musical excellence.  Tickets are available at the Ferst Center website.
