Full Summary: Monday of Involvement Week will feature recreation, leisure, sports clubs, performances and production groups on Tech Walk.

Monday of Involvement Week will feature recreation, leisure, sports clubs, performances and production groups.

During the week of Aug. 26 – Sept. 2, Involvement Week will give students a chance to meander Tech Walk and talk to members of the more than 400 student organizations spanning all interests of campus to find out what groups they may want to be a part of this year.

Each day will focus on different types of organizations; some students may only want to visit one day, while others may visit every day. More information on all student organizations, including descriptions and dues information, is available online from the Office of Student Involvement.

The rest of this year's schedule includes:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 30: This day will not have clubs on Tech Walk, but students are encouraged to attend President Peterson’s Institute Address and opening of the Clough Commons.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 31: Honor societies; departmental, professional, educational and political groups; governing boards; student media; fraternities and sororities
  • Thursday, Sept. 1: Volunteer fair, service organizations and community agencies
  • Friday, Sept. 2: Religious, spiritual, cultural and diversity organizations
