There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Elementary Student Weekend Workshops
The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will offer a series of weekend computing workshops for 4th - 6th graders. Each workshop will be $25 per person. Each will have a maximum of 24 students. The workshop will take place in the College of Computing, room 345. The workshops run from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Scratch and WeDosScratch - Interactive Storytelling. Storybook "apps" for the iPad feature sound, graphics, and animation to make stories engaging and fun! Students will use Scratch to create a short Interactive Story. In addition students will make Lego Creations with "We-Do" and connect them to the Scratch Animations.
