No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Elementary Student Weekend Workshops
The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will offer a series of weekend computing workshops for 4th - 6th graders. Each workshop will be $25 per person. Each will have a maximum of 24 students. The workshop will take place in the College of Computing, room 345. The workshops run from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
September 10th - Lego Robotics
Driverless Vehicles: From the DARPA challenge to Google's Driverless Cars, robotic transportation and autonomous vehicles present an exciting field in research and invention. Students in this workshop will build a vehicle with the Mindstorms Robot kit and program the vehicle with NXT-G to navigate a "road course" while avoiding obstacles and "delivering" passengers.
