Into the Streets (ITS) is a one-day community service event hosted by MOVE where hundreds of incoming freshmen work on service projects throughout the city. Service projects will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with students arriving at 7:45 a.m. at Peters Parking Deck. Students will return to Tech by 1:30 p.m.

The purpose of ITS is to introduce Tech freshmen to the many service opportunities both with MOVE and with organizations outside of Tech, while also having fun, meeting new people and making friends. Volunteers are provided breakfast and lunch.
