Full Summary: A TimeOut sneak peek will be offered on July 14 from 1 to 2 p.m. in room 1116 E/W, Klaus Building.

Georgia Tech is getting ready to launch TimeOut, a new leave management system for monthly employees. With TimeOut, employees can easily request and report time off for vacation, sick and other types of leave. Supervisory review and approval is facilitated by 24x7 web-based access, system-generated email notifications and reminders, and an intuitive, user-friendly interface.

A phased implementation approach is being used to introduce the system to the Georgia Tech community. OHR began piloting the use of this system in July, and all Campus Services departments will begin using the system in August. Effective September 1, all departments within the Administration and Finance unit (A&F) will use this new system to manage leave for monthly employees. Non-A&F departments are welcome and encouraged to "opt in" to using TimeOut beginning this fall.

You are invited to come and take a sneak peek at this new system. During this session, you will have a chance to view demonstrations of TimeOut and learn about key system functions and features. Of particular note, you will be able to examine the potential impact on your department's leave management process and learn about the ways you can begin preparing for the transition to the new system.

We hope you can join us! Two additional sessions are planned:

  • Wednesday, July 27 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Student Center Theater
  • Thursday, Aug. 11 (Admin Net Meeting) from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in room 1456, Klaus Building

If you would like to attend any of the sessions, click here to RSVP.
