There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

NASA Administrator Gen. Charles Bolden (front row, center) stands with aerospace engineering students from across the United States who attended the NASA Space Shuttle Symposium, "The Space Shuttle: An Engineering Milestone," at Georgia Tech in June 2011.
Chair of the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering Vigor Yang (front row, right), and Aerospace Engineering Professor Robert Loewy (front row, left), helped organize the symposium.
"The shuttles are the only vehicles of their kind in the world," Bolden said at the symposium. " . . . Each shuttle mission has showcased the amazing talents and expertise of our astronauts in robotics and science."
