There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Samantha Russell has been selected as the 2011 Society for Health System $1000 undergraduate scholarship recipient. Samantha is currently pursuing a B.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. She plans on obtaining a Master's in Health Systems and pursuing a career in the healthcare industry with a focus on operations research and improving the healthcare industry using principles of industrial engineering. This scholarship is funded by SHS members who make tax-deductible donations to this fund every year to facilitate the education of deserving student who would like to achieve higher education focused on systems engineering in healthcare.
