Following months of detours and construction noise, the Tech community will soon reap the rewards of a new and improved central campus.

The projects that will be winding down in July and August include the construction of the G. Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons and a transit hub near the Student Center Commons, and renovations to Tech (formerly known as “Skiles”) Walkway and the Campanile.

The latest details about each project follow:

Clough Commons

PERCENTAGE COMPLETE: 95 percent
WHAT IS COMPLETE: All aspects of the building are nearly complete.
WHAT STILL NEEDS WORK: Furniture, security systems and audio/visual systems are being installed.
