(September 9, 2006)--College of Computing Regents' Professor Mostafa Ammar is co-chairing the Association of Computing Machines (ACM) SIGMETRICS Conference on June 12-16, 2007 in San Diego. SIGMETRICS is the premiere international conference on the Measurement and Modeling of Computer Systems, and is anticipated to host over 250 attendees.
Ammar is part of the College's Computing Science & Systems (CSS) division and Networking Group. His research interests are in the areas of computer network architectures and protocols, distributed computing systems, and performance evaluation.
