There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech has done a lot to revise their curriculum, and besides robotics they have a pretty cool media computation program that is attracting a lot of students, said Alfred Thompson, K-12 Computer Science Academic Relations Manager for Microsoft, about reports that the number of newly declared undergraduate majors at doctoral-granting computer science departments is up for the first time since 2000.
