There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. A paper coauthored by Associate Professor George Biros (CSE) has been highlighted with a Viewpoint commentary on the American Physical Society website. The site selects certain papers published in the journals Physics and Physical Letters, and publishes Viewpoint pieces to explain the paper's impact to a wider audience. Biros' paper, Why Do Red Blood Cells Have Asymmetric Shapes Even In a Symmetric Flow, was published in Physics in October.
