There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

When applying to jobs, you're lucky to even have your resume read by a recruiter. Resumes are often run through AI/algorithms that filter all relevant information. A poorly structured resume can quickly filter you out of the hiring process.
SAME has a strong network of professionals who've been in our shoes and on the opposite side as well, and can provide advice on how to get past the resume screening. Mr. Joe Brejda, the student chapter liaison for Georgia Tech's chapter of SAME, will be coming to campus to give a presentation and offer resume assistance. He is both a graduate of Georgia Tech and a successful resume coach, offering a great opportunity for the student chapter. We will also be enlisting the help of Career Services, who are willing to lend Peer Advisors to provide a breadth of opinions.
Our events also include free food if that provides any additional incentive :)
