German Day 2023German Day 2023: Connecting the German-speaking Community inside and outside Georgia Tech brings together Georgia Tech students interested in the language and German-speaking cultures and the partners of the German program outside of the institute to create a networking opportunity to strengthen the German-speaking community. The event gives opportunities to students and alumna to share their experiences studying, interning, and working abroad in a German-speaking culture, and showcase their creative coursework studying German at Georgia Tech.
This year’s panel will discuss “Language Learning during COVID: How can intercultural competence assist us in the age of crisis?”
The event will further appreciate our partners Patrick Wallace, program specialist for world languages & global work initiatives, Department of Education; The Halle Foundation; The Spurlock Foundation; and The Dr. Bettina F. Cothran Scholarship, and connect them with students who pursued their German studies at Georgia Tech and abroad thanks to their generous giving.
